The frame feels a bit flimsy, but so far, so good. In my experience with other brands, the “screen” always cracks before the frame so I’m not too worried about the frame on this one. The string is nice and long, which is a plus – some boards have short strings which can make holding the “pen” awkward and tight when you’re drawing on the far side.

NiNi –
My son has special needs and even though he’s 18 years old he has used this toy for years. He takes it with him to church and in the car so we’ve gone through a number of these. What I have found is that part that really matters is the board itself, not the plastic frame and as the fisher price version keeps getting more and more expensive the board doesn’t last any longer than it ever did. I love this one and so does he. The plastic frame feels a little flimsy but the board itself works beautifully, it is his first time to have a color one and he has enjoyed using it. Highly recommend this product.
